A Lenten update and reflection from Fr. Rick Frenchette.... Lent is about learning the best way to suffer, because we cannot avoid suffering, and because suffering the wrong way can be very dangerous.
Pope Francis, announced that on Friday, March 25, 2022, in Saint Peter’s Basilica, he “will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.” On this same day, the Diocese of Rochester will join our Holy Father in prayer at a Mass for the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, March 25, 2022, seeking the Blessed Mother’s intercession that her Son will grant us the gift of peace.
A great mix of inspiring talks, uplifting music and liturgy, quiet time for prayer and reflection, skits, dancing, a warm environment, community, tears, and lots and lots of smiles!
Dear Parishioners, As the Lenten season is upon us, and we turn our attention to reestablishing the Lord as the center of our lives, through fasting, increased prayer, and special acts of charity, especially after the pandemic, I thank you for your support and commitment to our wonderful community, as well as your willingness to be active members of the St. Louis vineyard...
