Haiti in the News: assassinations, kidnappings, devalued money, COVID spike, vaccine shortage, storms, heat, looting... the list goes on.

What a horrific situation Haiti has been put in, but what can we do, how can we make a difference?

We and help by supporting our Parish friend, Fr. Rick, lift his monolithic load.

Some people “give to the missions by going (as Fr. Rick has), others go by supporting those who have their boots on the ground.

WAYS TO HELP FR. RICK & HELP HAITI:

• Consider a Birthday gift sent to Fr. Rick for his August 14th Birthday (maybe $30 for his 30 years of service in Haiti or perhaps $68 for his lifetime of prep and giving of himself as Passionist priest and physician)
• Help our St. Louis Haiti Team by supporting our “50+1” Corn Sale here at church on the weekend after Labor Day
• Plan to make a meaningful Christmas shopping list that includes our novel 40th edition Annual Ornament Sale
• Pray daily for Fr. Rick's safety and health and that of his helpers

Ministry Updates: Call for Committee Members

After chairing the Haiti Team here at St. Louis for 40 years and now in poor health, Marcia is hoping to find her replacement to chair this effective committee.

Although the Committee has updated its name since its inception over the past 51 years under Fr. Reddington, it has maintained its position as the only continuously active committee for over a half century.  Kudos to the wonderful members in Heaven and on Earth over these 51 years.
