Adult volunteers who work with children, youth, or vulnerable adults are required to complete the Criminal Record Check process, and participate in Creating a Safe Environment (CASE) training.
All volunteers must participate in a renewal of training as determined by the Diocese of Rochester (currently every 3 years.) Volunteer drivers for Church programs and events must have their driving record checked every year.
Below are links to forms and online trainings that must be provided to St. Louis before you will be able to volunteer with us.
If you have questions please call 585-586-5675 or email pstlouis@dor.org.
Please complete the forms and training linked in the buttons below. You will be required to send the following forms to rebecca.mitrousis@dor.org (or drop them off in the parish office, 64 S. Main St.) before you can volunteer with any St. Louis ministry:
All teens (ages 13-17) are required to complete online training and an in-person follow-up session before volunteering with a diocesan Church of ministry. Any teens who volunteer, in any capacity, must go through this training including Altar Servers, Ushers, EM, tutors, catechists, Saint's Place helpers, cantors, and lectors. Use the buttons below to navigate to the online training:
The online training will take 15-20 minutes and once completed it will generate a certificate with your name on it. Please send a digital copy of this certificate to Rebecca Mitrousis (rebecca.mitrousis@dor.org).
All follow-up in-person sessions will be held with the Parish CASE Coordinator. A schedule of when these will be offered is coming soon!
If you have any questions, concerns, or scenarios please reach out to Rebecca Mitrousis at rebecca.mitrousis@dor.org or at 586-5675.
