Becoming Catholic: The RCIA Journey

RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is a process which begins a spiritual journey, towards God, as a deeper relationship with him is developed.

The process consists of rites marking each stage and celebrated with special prayers and liturgical ceremony with the parish community. Christian initiation is received, usually at the Easter Vigil, with the reception of the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and Eucharist.

Anyone interested in learning more about becoming Catholic and the RCIA process is invited to contact Rajiv Dewan , Father Kevin or call 586-5675.
