Family Faith: Families (parents and children Pk-12)

Meet monthly in clusters of 3-5 families  This home-based program works very well for busy families! Three hour meetings take place once a month and are taught by rotating parents in each other's homes or on campus at St. Louis by reserving a teaching space. You may submit a request to create your own cluster of families who have similar extra-curricular activities/common schedules. Clusters should be a minimum of 3 families, and a maximum not exceeding 8 children total. All teaching materials are supplied to parents, and each child receives a grade specific workbook from the Finding God series. A web-based support program is available and monthly meeting reports are mandatory. Participation in (2) parish-wide group activities is encouraged. The Open Meal program with St. Catherine’s Church fulfills the service requirement.  If you have difficulty getting to the 9am Mass every Sunday for Seasons of Faith, attending consistently on Tuesday afternoons for Living Faith, or have a conflict with Sunday nights for the 6th -8th Middle School Group, consider making the switch! Groups meet from September – June.

Guidelines for faith formation:

  • Families must be registered parishioners of St. Louis Church. Children attending public school are expected to be in a parish Faith Formation program each school year.
  • Regular attendance (100%) is required in all programs.
  • St. Louis is a stewardship parish: families make commitments to share their gifts of time, talent and/or treasure. They also make a commitment to regular participation at Sunday Mass.
